A Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S25, but all eyes are already on the next release from the company: the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7. New rumors suggest major improvements in performance and display quality for these foldable devices.

Improvements in the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Display
One of the most exciting news is the possibility of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 having a screen almost without creases. While Samsung has significantly reduced the creases in previous versions of the Z series, information indicates that in the new model the “crease” will be “almost disappeared, but still noticeable in light”. This improvement promises a more pleasant visual experience for users.
Specifications and Performance
In terms of performance, both models, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7, are expected to feature an impressive 12GB of RAM. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is likely to have 256GB and 512GB variants, while the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may offer up to 1TB of storage. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to use the Exynos 2500 chip, while the Z Fold 7 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite For Galaxy.
Furthermore, rumors indicate that the speakers of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have improved quality, and both devices will come equipped with larger vapor chamber cooling systems, contributing to better cooling.
Cameras and Fast Charging
Rumors also suggest a 200MP primary camera for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, maintaining the camera specifications of the previous model in the other lenses. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to continue with its dual 50MP + 12MP camera setup. Both smartphones will be running the One UI 7.1 interface out of the box.
Both devices may offer support for 45W fast charging, although Samsung has no plans to increase the battery capacity.
Release and Expectations
Mass production of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 is scheduled to begin in May 2025, with an expected announcement in August without a significant increase in prices. Additionally, the company may take the opportunity to reveal its first smartphone with two folds, as well as the Galaxy Z Flip FE.
